题目: Collective Mobile Sensing in the Ocean: A Data Stream Perspective 时间: 2017年10月18日上午 10:00-11:30 地点: 玉泉校区信电楼215会议室 报告人: Fumin ZHANG 教授 | ![]() |
Abstract:
Larger variety of marine robots have recently been developed and commercialized to serve as networked mobile sensing platforms for data collection in the maritime environment in unprecedented ways. This talk will reveal an opportunity for autonomy and the internet of things (IoT) in the maritime sensing context. We argue that the effective transformation between Eulerian and Lagrangian data streams represents a fundamental principle underlying many ongoing research efforts. We will discuss recent contributions towards integrating mobile sensor platforms with acoustic communication and networking. The methods are developed and integrated with experimental effort.
