Prof. Dr. Leonhard Reindl, Director of the Institute of Microsystem Technology (IMTEK) at the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg in Germany, is a full professor at the Chair for Electrical Instrumentation, IMTEK. 1985 – 1999 he was a member of the micro-acoustics group of the Siemens Corporate Technology Department in Munich. His research fields focus mostly on micro acoustics, energy-efficient wireless sensor and actuator networks, energy harvesting, safety engineering and system integration. He holds more than 30 patents on SAW devices and wireless passive sensors and has authored or co-authored more than 150 papers in these fields.
Abstract(摘要):
This presentation presents the I-LOV system which is the result of a homonymous German integrated research project aiming at improving Urban Search And Rescue (USAR). It comprises search technologies for the detection and localization of trapped or buried unconscious victims and auxiliary assisting technologies. Novel search technologies for trapped or buried humans were developed,
which are, a robotic platform carrying a modular sensor suite, a video camera mounted on a stiffening hose, systems for localization of active GSM phones and inactive ones, and two types of Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) systems.
