Lirong Zheng
Lirong Zheng, born in 1969, is a professor at the School of Information Science and Engineering, Fudan University. His research fields include hardware integration design of wireless communication and smart sensor technology, wireless system-on-chip, system packaging and integration, and the application of these technologies in new media and the Internet of Things.
Zheng graduated from Zhejiang University with a bachelor's degree in 1992. In the same year, he was recommended to the Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy, Chinese Academy of Sciences to study for a master's degree in solid-state electronics. At the Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy, Chinese Academy of Sciences (now the Institute of Microsystems), he completed all master and doctoral courses in less than four years, published more than 10 research papers in top international journals, and won the Special Award of the President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Scholarship, and the first batch of National 100 Excellent Doctoral Dissertations (issued in 1999) issued by the State Council and the State Education Commission. From 2009 to 2020, he was the Dean of the School of Information, Fudan University.
