1. How to reach Yuquan  Campus


 From Xiaoshan International Airport  (Hangzhou)
Xiaoshan International Airport is located in Xiaoshan District,  Hangzhou, 27 kilometers west to the downtown area of the city. 
 From the  airport, one can fly directly to more than 50 major destinations home and  abroad, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Kunming, Hongkong, Macau, Taipei,  Seoul, Pusan (Busan), Tokyo, Osaka, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok,  Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Sydney.
 Shuttle Bus information: (bus  fare: 20 yuan RMB)
 There is a shuttle bus from the airport to Wulinmen CAAC  Air-ticket Office every 15 or 30 minutes and it takes about 50 minutes to make a  one way trip.
 After you arrive at Wulinmen CAAC  Air-ticket Office (390, Ti Yu Chang Road) which is situated right in the city  center, you may take a taxi to the North Gate(Xixi Road) of Yuquan Campus,  Zhejiang University.  The International College building will be on your left  within a 100-meter walk.
 NOTE:
 During the designated  period of registration (usually the first 3 days of the new semester), the  International College offers pick-up service to group students at Xiaoshan  International Airport.
 FROM Pudong International Airport  (Shanghai)
 Pudong International Airport is located in Pudong New Zone, about  30 kilometers east to the downtown area of Shanghai.
 Shuttle Bus Information: (bus fare:  100 yuan RMB)
 From Shanghai to Hangzhou: 10:30 12:00 13:30 15;30 17:30  19:00
 From Hangzhou to Shanghai:  7:00 8:30 10:30 12:30 14:30
 It takes about 3.5 hours from  Pudong International Airport to Hangzhou Yellow Dragon Sports Center. After  that, both Yuquan Campus and Xi’xi Campus are within about 500 meters walking  distance while Zijinggang Campus and Huajiachi Campus are about 7km away.  However, international students usually come with much luggage, so you may still  need a taxi to the North Gate (Xixi Road) of Yuquan Campus, Zhejiang  University.  The International College building will be on your left within a  100-meter walk.
 From Hangzhou Railway Station (Main  Station)
 Hangzhou is the railway hub in Zhejiang province, which makes it  very convenient to travel to and from Hangzhou by train.
 After your arrival at the Hangzhou  Main Railway Station, you may take a taxi to the North Gate (Xixi Road) of  Yuquan Campus, Zhejiang University.  The International College building will be  on your left within a 100-meter walk.

 2. Getting around the  City

 BUS
 Hangzhou has an extensive  network of bus service in the downtown area. Most buses use one ticket and the  price is generally:
 RMB 1 or 1.5 yuan for non-air-conditioned buses
 RMB 2  yuan for air-conditioned buses (with a “K” before the route number)
 RMB 3 to  5yuan for tour buses
 Most buses are non-conductor ones and do not provide  change, so passengers have to prepare some change before getting on the bus, or  you can use the IC card for public transportation.

 TAXI
 Hangzhou boasts its taxi  service because the models and conditions of the cars are the best in the  country. The fare is based on the mileage according to the meter. The starting  price is 10 RMB yuan for the first 3 KM and 2 yuan per Km after  that.
 NOTE:
 WHENEVER YOU TAKE A TAXI,  PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO GET A RECEIPT FROM THE CAB DRIVER. There are car numbers  on the receipt. Once your belongings are left on the cab, this receipt would  help you to get them back.
