Through this course, students will learn about circuit-level communication RF ICs.This course is mainly concerned with the analysis of device characteristics and models in the RF band under CMOS process conditions, and the device model in EDA tools, such as the BSIM and PSP models in Cadence Spectre RF.In terms of circuit design, the modules taught in this course include high-speed low-noise amplifier circuits, mixers, cavity oscillators, high-speed digital circuits, and finally complete RF transceiver design. While learning the specific circuits, students need to design circuit module projects to understand and master the design and simulation technology of mainstream commercial integrated circuit design software such as Cadence Spectre RF CMOS RF integrated circuits.
