This course systematically describes the basic theory and analytical methods of electromagnetic fields and electromagnetic waves, focusing on the transmission characteristics of electromagnetic waves.Through this course, students should master the basic laws and characteristics of electromagnetic waves in various situations, master the characteristics of microwave and optical waveguide technology, and the basic measurement methods of components and systems.Main contents: wave and vector analysis, transmission line basic theory and circle diagram, Maxwell's equation, plane wave, reflection and refraction of wave at the interface of medium, waveguide, resonator, antenna and basic microwave measurement.
