The course focuses on the recent advances in the field of integrated circuit engineering, The main contents include the advanced technology of integrated circuit related materials, introduction of the latest process of integrated circuit manufacturing, and the cutting-edge technology method on integrated circuit design, etc. The advanced technology of integrated circuit related materials involves the recent manufacturing technology of semiconductor substrate, and the new materials technology in the manufacturing process of integrated circuits.     The cutting-edge technology method on integrated circuit design involves CPU implementation for embedded system, SoC implementation for smart grid, design and implementation of power management chip, and design of EDA tool for integrated circuit design.     This course is carried out in the form of lectures, along with the reports on the latest progress mentioned above by some experts in domestic and foreign well-known enterprises or research institutions.
